These are the causes when a clutch slips

1-Flywheel not Machined. Grinder it with a Flywheel Grinder Machine. (not with a lathe)

2-Improper Linkage adjustment.

3-Release Bearing lash ajusted too tight.

4-Too much friction in the clutch release linkage.

5-Worn Facings.

6-Cover bolts loose.

7-Oil on Facings.

8-Weak or broken diafragm.

9-Glazed facings.
